Holiday Frenzy and Craziness!

It's that time of year where everyone is going in every which way and that is the crazy way! LOL

I know most of you are aware of my hectic schedule of late and thank you for your patience with everything. The good news is I got the job and start with orientation on Monday (Dec 15). It should be a very interesting job, since it is in the ER and it is the night shift. What was I thinking?! Oh right, I want to have a flexible schedule to be home most of the time with my boys and I think this will be a good fit.

Anyhoo . . . lots going on and I would love to hear how all of you are doing. I know some of you, who I chat with on facebook, have been busy with making Christmas gifts etc and I am so envious of you. Things have been nuts here that I am so behind on all of that and even my Christmas cards too! Please see some of the new posts on the specials going on with Stampin' Up this month.

Stampin' Techniques

There is a great tool on the SU! website that highlights Stampin' Techniques to create simple, yet sensational, cards and projects. From using markers and pastels to watercoloring and from embossing to Two-Step Stampin', there's a lot to learn about creating handmade cards and scrapbook pages! Click on a technique listed to the left to learn how to create the look on your own projects.

One in technique particular is using Stampin' Pastels, one of my very first products I ordered prior to becoming a demo with SU! . . . I will feature it here, but suggest you take a look at all the techniques available to you, especially those of you who have not used any of these techniques or are new to SU! . . . http://www.stampinup.com/us/enu/4289.asp

Just an fyi . . . I use my Stampin' Pastels with my versamark

Hope this helps!

Setting up this Blog

This is my first blog and I have set it up for my club friends so we have a place to chat, share our new crafts, and just have some plain ol' fun. This is new to me so if you have any tips or suggestions, they are warmly welcome. Thanks!
